CO-OP In Brief

  • Aim

    Provide participants with introductory novice-level knowledge about the basic concepts and methods used in the CO-OP intervention.

  • Format

    In person and/or virtual interactive lecture (duration 4 – 6 hours). Is offered in a variety of languages by certified CO-OP Instructors (a list of certified instructors is available here) or you can contact ICAN.

  • Target Audience

    Recommended for the general public (parents, teachers, siblings, clients, or health and educational professionals.

  • At the End of This Course

    Participants will be able to identify the seven key features of the CO-OP Approach, be aware of theoretical and evidenctiary foundations for the CO-OP intervention and distinguish the CO-OP Approach from other kinds of top-down, task-oriented, or cognitive intervention approaches. This course does not develop practice competencies and NO certificate is provided.
